Please see the attached sheet for an overview of Student Hours (aka “Office Hours”) for Spring 2021 classes in Communication and Media and Liberal Studies. This information should also be available within your syllabi and/or your course sites.
I know from experience that students are sometimes reluctant to make use of these hours—don’t be! They’re time that instructors have specifically designated to connect with you: to field questions, clarify course concepts or assignments, or just chat. While you’re welcome to bring specific topics to the meeting, be assured that you don’t need to have anything “prepared” to make use of student hours. Often, it can just be a good chance to interact with your professor one-on-one, in real time—a particularly nice opportunity in these socially distanced times!
